Coast to Coast

The girls may complain about this day but it was necessary to get us from the Italian Riviera to the Amalfi Cost.  We left early, through La Spezia and back into Roma (our 3rd time in the Termini) and on through Naples and into Salerno (not Sorrento).  

Missed our connection in Rome due to a train delay and the conductor told us to sit where we liked in the first car (first class, not bad).  It was a long day of travel.  Waited an hour for a bus from Salerno to Amalfi and then had to catch a cab because the buses to Praiano stopped running at 9pm. 

The girls were troopers.  We met our contact "aka Renee" outside the grocery and she took us to apartment.  It was dark but the full moon gave us a glimpse of he spectacular view from our terrace, even at night.  (Picture is from the next morning. )
