Our bus for Siena and another place I can't pronounce or spell was picking us up at 10:00. So we packed our bags and met the lady who was our tour guide at the bus. She was nice, and she talked a lot on the bus. The ride was an hour to the first place. It was a small city, and it had lots of gelato places which rocked. The whole town was pretending to be back in medieval times. There were shops that sold swords and battle axes and bows, and instead of a restaurant, there was an outdoor lunch line, that sold really good food.
While we were eating there, someone put on a show. Coming up the street was four men. The one in the front was dressed in army clothes, a red coat, a hat.
Two others were wearing the same outfit and were holding a struggling man that looked like he was a poor colonist between them. The man between him had two boards around his neck and head. They took him away, and pretended to execute him.
All in all it was a good show, but I wish that I could have gotten it on my camera. We all met up again at the bridge where the bus was, and then we took another hour long bus ride to Siena. I have to say that I liked Siena better.
First of all, it was a much bigger city, so you could see and do a lot more, and second of all I got to walk around and shop in little souvenir shops for my friends and myself. Meghan and I both bought Dad's Father's Day gift, which was a small bottle opener that he could use whenever he went somewhere and he brought beer.
Soon enough it was time to leave Siena. We took the hour and fifteen minute bus trip back to Florence. My favorite parts of the day was the show at the place I can't say, and shopping for my friends in Siena.
