There was 463 steps until you get to the way top, and it was eight euros each. It was worth it, though. When we got to the way top we could see all of Florence and a little bit of Tuscany. There was so much graffiti on the walls I kind of wished that I had written something that would say, Helen was here. So that way, if I had ever came back when I was old I could say, Hey! I wrote that when I was eleven! I didn't ever write anything.
When we left the dome we went to the market. We got a bag of cherries and a bag of dried fruit. We all tried a new fruit that me and Meghan were the only ones that liked it. We went back to the hotel and there, the bus that would drive to the winery picked us up.
When the bus dropped us off the tour guide showed us around in an old winery. She told us that some wine needed to wait more than others until they were ready to drink. After we saw all the wine she took us to a table and had us all drink it. I had three different wines. My favorite was the last one, which was the desert wine. It was sweet and we had a biscuit to go with it.
We left the winery and took the one hour bus ride back to the hotel. There we played cards and the adults drank wine. For dinner we had pizza. It was a good day.
