Hello Florence!

In the morning I got to sleep until 8:15, and then a guy called our room to wake me and Meghan up. I ate breakfast with Meghan, Connor and Jake and then my mom and dad came around to pick us up so we could all go to the market. Jake didn't come. The market was far away and we kept getting lost, so it took about an hour to get there. We walked around the little shops and we got a bag of cherries. They were really good. We finished them in about five seconds.

After we walked through the market we ran into Aunt Lisa and D-daddy. We went and got gelato. Dad and Meghan and I all found out that the gelato place had the same gelato that we had in Peru. Marecuja! We walked until we were in the palazzo and we found Aunt Tracy, Uncle Tom and Jake hanging out by the big cathedral. We gave them reccomendations for the gelato place that we just ate at and they immediately went there. They met up with us afterward and we all decided to go into the Basilica di San Marco. We stood in the line for a couple minutes, and just when we were about to go in, Sam turned up!

The cathedral was beautiful. It had many paintings that were made out of little pieces of rock that were different colors. We came back outside and went back to the hotel to get our bags, because sadly that was our last day in the beautiful Venice. We left for the bus at 2:00 and waited by the side of the road. We waited for an hour and no bus showed up. At last the bus came, and all 12 of us had the entire bus to ourselves. I had two seats where I could lay down or put my feet up on. The bus ride was four hours, but it was fun. Sort of.

We got off the bus and went to our hotel, Palazzo Ricasoli. It's nice, and my bed is awesome. We play cards everyday at night and we get gelato, like, twice a day. It makes me feel fat, but at least I'm walking everywhere and burning calories off. I like it here, and I'm glad that we get to stay here for five nights.

Hello, Florence!
