at the apartment while everyone else went out hiking. Of course, I couldn't. We walked down to the to the information station, but it was closed. We were all kind of hungry so we stopped at a hotel that also had a restaurant. We asked for croissants, but he said that all they had was cake. That was bull, because Meghan said that she saw a person eating a croissant, only a couple tables away. The cakes weren't bad, and some of them had jelly and chocolate in them.
When we got to the beach, half of it was already covered in shade. We sat in the sun, but soon enough we were in the shade too. It had rocks instead of sand, but other than that it was pretty nice. We were going to go to the big beach, that was on the other side of Praiana, but we had already checked out some of it, and realized it had so many stairs to go down. We didn't want to climb back up the stairs, we would much rather go down a slightly steep slope to the small beach. The water was cold at first, but then I got used to it. Pretty soon, it got cold again, because it went into the shade.
It wasn't as fun anymore when it turned cold, so we turned back. Mom hadn't come, because she doesn't like water very much, so we met back up with her at the apartment and we ate dinner. I think that Cinque Terre and Venice are my favorite cities in Italy, so far.
great to hear what you're up to! Sounds like an awesome trip so far
